Catherine MacGregor is vice president of Personnel for Schlumberger Limited in Paris, a position she has held since November 2007. She focuses on recruiting, training, retention, diversity, and career development throughout Schlumberger.

MacGregor joined the former Schlumberger drilling company, Sedco Forex, in Congo in 1995 as an engineer trainee and acquired increasing responsibility in drilling engineering roles offshore Scotland. She moved to the Drilling & Measurements segment in July 2000 as a project engineer in Sugar Land, Texas,  and as field service manager to Lafayette, Louisiana. Back to France, she was the product champion in the technology centre in Clamart. After a management development position in the headquarter office in Paris she moved back to operations as operations manager in Kuala Lumpur.  In 2007, she was appointed director of personnel for oilfield services before assuming a current role as VP personnel for Schlumberger, based in Paris.

MacGregor earned a master’s degree in General Engineering and a Diplome d'Etudes Avancees of Energetics and Heat Transfers from Ecole Centrale de Paris.
