Jean-Michel received his Masters of Science in geology from the Institut Catholique de Paris in 1995. He kicked off his career with Schlumberger in Nigeria as a log analyst. Jean-Michel was working closely with Well Placement for the past 11 years in Nigeria, Norway, US, Algeria, Tunisia & China. He held different roles from Well Placement Engineer to Geosteering Team Leader. Currently, he is the Well Placement & Geology Domain Champion for D&M HQ. His current role responsibility is to advise clients in the planning and execution of well placement operations and oversee the development of delivery products related to Well Placement. He has also received numerous awards from Schlumberger and client’s worldwide for his contribution in the Well Placement Domain including the PBS Chairman Award.
